Jeffrey
Majeau,
owner and operator of Tripp Street Soundworks, is an alumnus of Berklee
College of
Music
in Boston, MA. He began his career in sound as a musician,
composer
and
arranger.
An interest in film and television led him to explore scoring for
picture. He soon
discovered a
fascination
with the entire audio post-production process, and set about in
earnest to
master
the skills of the craft.
In 1995,
Jeff was
hired by Wave, Inc., a former client, to build an in-house audio
department
to complement
its
already successful film and video post-production business.
During
his
eight year
tenure
there, he developed a reputation for bringing a musical sensibility to
his
audio post and
design
work, and under his direction, the department grew to be the most
consistently
utilized
and profitable service within the company, attracting clients of
regional and
national
stature.
When Wave closed it's
doors in
late 2001, Jeff decided to establish Tripp Street Soundworks,
a full service audio
post-production
company
based in Framingham, MA. The idea was simple -
a great sounding
room, the
power and
flexibility
of computer-based digital audio technology, a friendly,
comfortable atmosphere to
foster
the creative process. And it seems to be working. Jeff
continues
to
find himself
very
much in demand, lending his touch to a wide variety of
projects for television,
radio, corporate, independent film
and music clients.
